Book Tag Tuesday: #daysoftheweekinbooks

Hi guys, I’m back with a fun tag! This tag makes me so excited because it’s the first bookish tag that I’ll be doing here on my blog. Zel of @grimreaderx on Instagram tagged me to do the *drumroll* #DAYSOFTHEWEEKINBOOKS tag! Thanks, Zel! I’ve already checked out the questions so without further ado, let’s do this!

A book you’re lazy to read

For me it was Strange the Dreamer. I love the story, it was whimsical and has passionate characters, but somehow I just tried to avoid reading it? I don’t think it’s a reading slump since I was inclined to read other books. Perhaps the slow pacing of the story was just putting me to sleep.

A book that was hard to read

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns. I loved the evil story but it just wasn’t for me. I despised Xifeng, not because she’s evil, but for me she’s annoying, especially when’s she’s switching from lovesick maiden to power-hungry woman and back again.

A book you still haven’t finished

The Revolution of Jack Frost. Been reading it for a week now and I love the story but it just somehow takes so much time to finish it. It’s in ebook format so the book is probably thick.

A book you recommend

I have SEVERAL books to recommend, but I’ll only name an unpopular one. A Shadow Bright and Burning (Kingdom on Fire series) by Jessica Cluess is a bestselling book but very few people know about it. it also has mixed reviews on Goodreads. I love love LOVE this series so much guys, it’s Victorian England + Fantasy powers + Squad goals. You guys should try reading it sometime!

A book you can’t wait to be released

A Sorrow Fierce and Falling by Jessica Cluess. Third book to the series I’ve mentioned above. Also, Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas although I haven’t read the Throne of Glass series yet. I’m also excited for the sequel to Sara Holland’s book Everless, which is Evermore.

A book you want to read ASAP

Stalking Jack the Ripper. I’ve read the second book, Hunting Prince Dracula, already so my goal is to read book one first before I proceed to the newly released Escaping From Houdini.

A book you didn’t want to end

What else but Harry Potter? Harry deserved a longer story and I felt like the ending was a huge cliffhanger. So yeah, he defeated Voldemort. What happened next? What happened between Deathly Hallows and Cursed Child. How would J.K. Rowling put Cursed Child into her own story, her own flow of events? There’s just so many questions left unanswered.

So that’s it for now! I had so much fun doing this tag. I’m tagging everyone who wants to do it so feel free to do it on your blogs as well. Until the next time!
